Founder · dnrisk
I run dnrisk — a research practice focused on micro-SaaS businesses listed for acquisition. My goal is straightforward: look at businesses that are for sale, figure out what they're actually worth, and flag the risks the listing doesn't mention.
Each analysis I publish covers the real numbers behind the asking price — MRR quality, churn, key-person risk, competitive position, and a fair value range. I end every report with an S&P-style rating: from AAA for an exceptional deal down to D for something you should walk away from.
The idea behind dnrisk came from noticing how many acquisition listings present polished revenue figures without context. A business doing $5,800/month in MRR sounds solid until you look at the 2.8% monthly churn, the outsourced developer on a month-to-month contract, and the asking price that's 58% above fair value. That gap — between the pitch and the reality — is what I try to close.
Have a listing you want me to look at?
Send it over and I will run the numbers — valuation, risk breakdown, and a written rating.
